Abstract
Das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) hat die zweite Förderphase für das fachübergreifende Internetportal vascoda bewilligt. Ziel der zweiten Projektphase ist es, "ein gut strukturiertes Informationsangebot mit einheitlichem Zugang für alle Nutzergruppen zu schaffen. vascoda wird bis Ende 2007 zu einer nutzerorientierten und transparenten Dienstleistung für die Wissenschaft ausgebaut. Möglich sein soll dann neben einer Recherche in einschlägigen Datenbeständen auch der komfortable Zugriff auf die gewünschten Dokumente." Damitgeht vascoda von einer politischen Phase, in der es vor allem darum ging, Kooperationspartner zu gewinnen und ein umfassendes, aber auch technisch heterogenes Informationsangebot zusammenzufassen, in eine technische Phase über. Hier sollten vor allem die Interessen der Nutzer beispielsweise in Sachen Recherchekomfort im Mittelpunkt des Interesses stehen.
