" Webdienstleister Yahoo hat die Funktionen seiner Suchmaschine enorm erweitert: Wie auch Google bietet Yahoo Info Express unter anderem eine Direktsuche nach Stadtplänen und übersetzt Begriffe aus und nach diversen Fremdsprachen. Ya hoo geht jedoch noch einen Schritt weiter: So öffnet die Eingabe von Straße und Ort im Suchfeld ohne URL-Umwege einen Kartenausschnitt; das Eintippen von Wetter und Ort liefert sofort den aktuellen Stand und Nachrichten Bundeskanzler beispielsweise zeigt entsprechende Schlagzeilen an. Gleiches gilt für Wörterbücher, Aktienkurse, Routenplanung, Lotto-Zahlen, Telefontarife sowie Grußkarten und diverse Partnerbörsen. Das Yahoo-Angebot übertrifft derzeit alle Add-on-Dienstleistungen anderer Suchmaschinen."
