"Ab sofort steht Microsofts neu entwickelte Suchmaschine in der finalen Version in 24 Ländern und zehn Sprachen zur Verfügung: Die MSN-Suche soll auf einem Index mit mehr als fünf Milliarden Webdokumenten basieren. Zum Vergleich: Suchmaschinen-Marktführer Google greift auf rund 8 Millionen Webdokumente zu. MSN Search umfasst neben einer News- auch die Encarta-Suche. Damit ist ein kostenfreier Zugriff auf die Enzyklopädie Encarta Online möglich. Die Herkunft der Ergebnisse soll sich im Suchassistenten nach Land/Region, Sprache, Seite/Domain sowie Ergebnisreihenfolge eingrenzen lassen."
