"Umfassende Liste nationaler und internationaler Internetquellen online Seit kurzem weist der virtuelle Fachführer Government Information der Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin den Weg zu amtlichen Dokumenten aller Art aus rund 50 Ländern. Unter http://amtsdruckschriften.staatsbibliothek-berlin.de/ de/links/internetquellen sind nach Sachgruppen und nach Ländern sortierte Links zu Portalen und Datenbanken mit amtlichen Veröffentlichungen von Regierungen sowie bedeutenden Organisationen und Institutionen aufgeführt. Die fachliche Breite der rund 800 Internetquellen reicht von Gesetzesblättern und Parlamentsprotokollen über Statistiken, Verfassungen, Staatshandbücher und wissenschaftliche Publikationen staatlicher Forschungseinrichtungen bis zu Ausstellungskatalogen nationaler Museen. Entsprechend dem Sammlungsprofil der Staatsbibliothek berücksichtigt der virtuelle Fachführer besonders die Angebote west- und osteuropäischer sowie ostasiatischer Staaten, der USA und Kanadas, nationaler Parlamente, der EU und der UNO. Die allgemeinen Informationsquellen werden ergänzt durch Links zu Fachinformationen aus den Bereichen Politik, Recht, Bildung, Kultur, Gesundheitswesen, Informationstechnik und Datenschutz, Umwelt, Wirtschaft sowie zum Thema E-Government. Bei einzelnen Staaten findet der Nutzer u.a. landeskundliche Portale, Regierungs-, Bürger- oder Verwaltungsportale, Links zu Staatsverlagen und amtlichen Statistiken, zu den Nationalbibliotheken und -archiven sowie zu den nationalen Rechtsquellen. Die im Fachführer besonders hervorgehobene Rubrik PARLAMENTE setzt das in der Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin gepflegte Sondersammelgebiet mit überwiegend gedruckten Parlamentsschriften in elektronischer Form fort. Zu finden sind Sitzungsprotokolle und andere parlamentarische Materialien aus den oben genannten Schwerpunktländern sowie des Deutschen Bundestages, des Bundesrates und der 16 deutschen Landesparlamente."
