"Seit einiger Zeit findet man in der Literaturdatenbank Zentralblatt MATH (Server Berlin und Göttingen) Informationen über Mathematikliteratur nicht nur ab 1931, sondern schon ab 1868. Über ein einziges Suchmenü lassen sich Literaturhinweise aus einem Zeitraum von über 135 Jahren finden (http://www.emis.de/ZMATH/ und http://zmath.sub.uni-goettingen.de/). Bisher enthielt die Datenbank ZMATH alle Daten aus dem Zentralblatt für Mathematik. Es wurde 1931 gegründet und ist für die Mathematik eine der größten Referatezeitschriften weltweit. Neu hinzugekommen sind nun Dokumente aus dem Jahrbuch über die Fortschritte der Mathematik. Das JFM war die erste umfassende Referatezeitschrift auf dem Gebiet der Mathematik. Es enthält Informationen über fast alle Publikationen in der Mathematik und ihren Anwendungsgebieten aus dem Zeitraum von 1868 bis 1942. Im Rahmen des DFG-Projektes "Electronic Research Archiv for Mathematics (ERAM)" wurden alle Daten aus dem gedruckten Jahrbuch digitalisiert, ergänzt und bearbeitet. Unter der Adresse http://www. emis.de/projects/JFM/ findet man Näheres über das Projekt, und die JFM-Datenbank, ergänzt um Angaben aus der Staatsund Universitätsbibliothek Göttingen."
