Abstract

In den nächsten Jahren wird der Bedarf nach Übersetzungen auf der ganzen Welt stark anwachsen. Vor allem in der Finanz- und Geschäftswelt kommen dabei computerisierte Übersetzungshilfen gezielt zum Einsattz. Je kontrollierter die Sprache, desto besser die Übersetzung des Computers, der etwa mit den Mehrdeutigkeiten der Alltagssprache völlig überfordert ist. Obwohl sie für beträchtliche Verwirrung sorgen, werden Übersetzungsmaschinen jedoch auch im Internet immer wichtiger
