Abstract

According to the statistical analysis of the IPC symbols allotted to Chinese patent applications, the differences between technical subject matters of patents for invention and utility models are quite clear. There is a difference between foreign applications and domestic ones. The inventive level of the majority of domestic patent applications is relatively low. However, patent applications relating to modern high tech subjects are increasing gradually
