Abstract

Report of the annual meeting of the Working Group on Information and Documentation of the Europe Association of Development Research and Training Institutes (EADI), Paris, Sep 1997. Focused on the lack of interlinkages between the francophone and English language oriented development information centres and sources in Europe, the great variety of systems, structures and facilities hampering easy access to information, the absence of cooperation schemes among Africa centres in europe and of cooperation between Europe and Africa. A Task force was formed to develop a common coordinated approach to the retrieval of information supporting research and development activities
