Abstract

Reviews DIALOG Web which is targeted at those familiar with the traditional DIALOG services. Details how to access it, pricing, use of DIALINDEX to browse the database and test run search strategies, searching display search results and printing and reporting. Concludes that it is convenient but is has not taken advantage of the possibilities offered by the new medium and has merely replicated a traditional search engine on a new platform
