Abstract

Reports on a comparative study of the physics schedules in the 7th ed. of the CC and in the 20th ed. of DDC. Various aspects, such as the placement of physics among other subjects, neighbourhood relations, terminologies used, arrangement of schedules, notations and mnemonics are compared. The efficiencies and deficiencies of both schemes are examined in detail, and several suggestions provided for improvement
