Abstract
Seit Jahren wird von den Wissenschaftsverlagen nach einem System zur eindeutigen Identifizierung und Lokalisierunbg von relevanten Objekten im Internet gesucht. Ein solches System sollte zitierbare Inhalte authentifizieren können und damit dem Nutzer die Sicherheit geben, daß das, was er abgerufen hat, auch das ist, was ihm geliefert wird. Gleichzeitig muß der Urheber der Information sicher sein können, daß seine Rechte auf den Inhalt respektiert und geschützt werden
