Abstract

Reviews the CD-ROM and online database version of the abstracting and indexing service LISA. Highlights a few limitations of content of the records, and traces recent changes. The CD-ROM version offers a powerful, advanced version of Bowker search software. The online version is available on Dialog, but some of its power search features are not available on LISA. The CD-ROM is preferable to the online version because of its better browsing and display options and also because, unusually, it was more current
