Abstract

400 participants from 40 countries gatheres in Bogota on 26 May 95 to participate in a plenary assembly of the 1st International Congress of CDS/ISIS, commemorating both the 50th anniversary of UNESCO and the 10th anniversary of MicroISIS. Describes the basis of the deliberations concerning the utilisation of MicroISIS and IDAMS software, and the need for development. Sets out the recommendations adopted by the Congress for ensuring the future of MicroISIS, by adapting it to current requirements of information technology and to the globalization of information systems
