DBV-OSI vernetzt Bibliotheks(verbund)systeme und Fachinformationszentren. Seit November 1996 ermöglicht ein für Die Deutsche Bibliothek von der Fa. Danet entwickeltes Web-Z39.50-Gateway den direkten, systemungebundenen Zugriff auf die Katalogdatenbanken des DBV-OSI-Verbundes
