Abstract
Describes the successful reclassification project undertaken by OCLC for Central Connecticut State University. The library had started to reclassify its Dewey stock to LCC but still had some 36.000 items left to process, which were heavily used, not on automated systems and had to be booked out manually. Outlines the decisions made and the work programme undertaken by the library and OCLC, using the RETROCON service and allocating LC call numbers under the TECHPRO program where necessary
