Abstract
Kaum ein anderer Bereich steht so sehr im Vordergrund der wissenschaftlichen und politischen Diskussion wie die neuen Informationstechnologien: Weltraum- und Militärforschung, Datenverarbeitung, Telekommunikation und schließlich die Vernetzung der verschiedenen Systeme. Betrieb und Verwaltung sind einem Prozeß unterworfen, dessen Resultat noch nicht genau abzusehen ist. Anknüpfend an eine Gesetzesvorlage der Bundesregierung versuchen die AutorInnen - TeilnehmerInnen eines Hearings der Grünen im Bundestag - die Bereiche und die Art der Veränderung genauer abzustecken und ihre Folgen für die Bevölkerung zu verdeutlichen
