Abstract

Considers what researchers seek from subject information, and what their future needs will be. Discusses how libraries can deal with recognising these needs and meeting them, in the light of restricted budgets. Use of LCSH should be reinstated across the UK library community as it is the most internationally accepted system available to meet the needs of libraries in the likely circumstances
