Abstract

Describes the establishment of a maintenance service for a Russian databank of authority files in Russia. The work would include coordinating the creation of authority files for electronic catalogues; creating authority files of proper national spellings; and creating or acquiring authority files on foreign authors, uniform titles and serials. Lists the libraries which will participate in the service along with the Russian Book Chamber and the Russian State Library
