Abstract
In vielen Bereichen der Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft, Ausbildung und öffentlichen Verwaltung werden für die tägliche Arbeit Informationen aus Fachdatenbanken herangezogen. 2 Technologien können hier eingesetzt werden: die CD-ROM und die Online-Datenbank. Darstellung der Kosten und Leistungen beider Medien sowie der Kriterien, mit deren Hilfe man das für die eigenen Anforderungen optimale Medium finden kann
