Darin Aussagen zur Bestandserschließung (S.26ff.). - "Der DBV sieht in der Lieferung von Schlagwörtern innerhalb der Magnetbanddienste der DB große Vorteile für die einzelnen Bibliotheken. Die Möglichkeiten systematischer Notierungen als Fremdleistungsangebot wird weiter verfolgt, sobald Ergebnisse der laufenden Projekte zur Schlagwortvergabe vorliegen. Dem Einsatz einheitlicher Regeln (RAK/Schlagwortregeln) ist unter dem Gesichtspunkt der Fremdleistungsnutzung durch Bibliotheken aller Sparten künftig besondere Aufmerksamkeit zu widmen." (S.27) - "Die Anwendung der 'Regeln für den Schlagwortkatalog (RSWK)' wird dringend empfohlen. Sie ist die Voraussetzung für die Übernahme zentral vergebener Schlagwörter, wie sie von der Deutschen Bibliothek und für den ID geplant sind. Für den Bereich der Systematik ist in absehbarer Zeit keine einheitliche Regelung zu erwarten. Bei Umstellungen sollte auf jeden Fall eine vorhandene Systematik übernommen und keine neue entwickelt werden." (S.34)
