Abstract

Die 'Empfehlungen des Wissenschaftsrates zur retrospektiven Katalogisierung an wissenschaftlichen Bibliotheken' führten zum Projektantrag auf Förderung durch die DFG zum Aufbau eines Verbundkataloges maschinenlesbarer Katalogdaten als Datenressource für die retrospektive Katalogisierung. Dieser Bericht gibt einen Überblick über die durchgeführten Arbeiten bis zur Produktion der VK-Produkte. Beschrieben werden die Arbeitsschritte von den Vereinbarungen mit den regionalen Verbundsystemen, den Formatfestlegungen, den neuen Programmentwicklungen (besonders den Dublettenprüfungen und Ansigelverfahren), dem Aufbau des Online-Systems sowie den entwickelten Verfahren zur Datenübernahme
