Abstract

AskERIC is an Internet based information service for teachers, library media specialists, administrators, and other involved in education. The hallmark of AskERIC is the human intermediary who interacts with the information seeker selecting and delivering information resources within 48 hours. The benefit of this human touch is that it allows staff to determine a client's information needs and to present an array of relevant resources from both the ERIC system and the vast resources of the Internet.
